SAN DIEGO – At least one person was injured late Thursday afternoon in a collision involving a U.S. Border Patrol vehicle on state Route 905 in Otay Mesa.

The accident took place about 5:00 PM on the westbound side of the freeway, west of Caliente Ave., according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred after agents tried to pull over a car whose driver refused to yield and then crashed into a Border Patrol SUV and another vehicle, reports say.
