MISSION VALLEY – Two people are dead and three are being treated for injuries following a fiery car crash in Mission Valley Saturday Night.

Video footage shows the remains of a charred BMW seen speeding onto the 163 freeway on-ramp earlier before hitting an embankment wall.

The car flew off the ramp and hit several palm trees before crashing 40 feet below and bursting into flames.

First responders were able to pull three of the passengers out of the vehicle, but were unable to save the two others who died in the car.

The fire was so intense water from two trucks were unable to put it out and more trucks had to be called.

The three injured were rushed to the hospital and the driver is suspected of driving under the influence.
